I would prefer if you have background knowledge on Islamic/Immigration organizations.

Write a 3-4 page paper about CAIR Chicago (Council on American Islamic Relations). Write this paper in first person as if you have volunteered for this organization.

Please answer the following questions:

1) Name the nonprofit, when it was established, by whom, what its mission is, and explain how it speaks to your interests,

2) Describe, in detail, the public space that you toured, or the specific public event or program you participated in. If this was a specific interview you had with a staff person, identify who that staff person was and why and how you connected with them,

3) What are the key programs that this nonprofit runs? For example, arts literacy, cultural awareness, community empowerment, health awareness are all examples. Describe what this means. If it is a large nonprofit, just identify the top three programs, by size,

4) How does this nonprofit get funded? You must do some research here and look on their website for annual reports AND/OR on guidestar.org to pull their IRS990s. They should list their main sources of revenue.
