Food Company Strategic Plan

Planning is crucial for the success of any activity which one wishes to undertake. Strategic planning is a crucial process in companies and organizations that which is involves understanding the purpose and priorities of the organizations, then adjusting with the methodologies set to achieve the set goals (Bryson et al., 2017). Therefore, strategic planning is a means by which leaders can influence the future of the organization. This plan involves building a team that I will work with to achieve the goal of my food delivery company

Major Goals of the Company

Some of the major goals of my company are; growing into a global food and beverages company and prevailing in the global market, integrating other sectors in the growth of the company, and creating employment opportunities for people with diverse skills and competencies. The goals will take a longer duration to achieve but every activity in the company will be strategized towards the achievement of the goals (Van der Hoek et al., 2016).

Specific Objectives of the Company

Together with my team, we have set measurable short-term goals, to achieve and we evaluate ourselves yearly. The current year’s strategic plans are; rising our profits by 15% from the 900 dollars which were last year’s amount to 1035 dollars. We also aim to increase the number of employees by 5% for our new departments this year and utilize the communication sector by ensuring we promote our services and products with at least two business adverts per week through a local national television channel.

Competition

We appreciate the importance of a healthy competitive business environment.  We also have confidence in the quality of our products and services, and competent in our skills and techniques to retain our customers (Gupta et al., 2016). We attach value to our potential customers since we know they also play a role in marketing our products and services. Therefore, we are ready to engage in a competition with our competitors.

Strategies

Our company is ready to use various strategies which will help us achieve our objectives and goals. One of the strategies is calling for employees’ meetings regularly whereby each presents a job performance report thus determining the progress of the company (Ferenczy, 2019). And the other strategy is branding our products with the company name to ensure there is uniqueness even in a highly competitive environment
